The Stella Alpina Spiz Piaz refuge is located in the beautiful Conca del Gardeccia, in the heart of the Catinaccio Group which has recently become part of the World Heritage Site. In addition to offering beautiful views, the silence of the mountain, the fresh and clear air and the contact with nature, you will also have the opportunity to taste excellent typical dishes and some delicious news. You will live the experience of an overnight stay at high altitude.

Furthermore, the Conca di Gardeccia is not only reachable with a quiet walk of about 50 minutes from Ciampedie-Pian Pecei through the Path of Legends or the Path of the Wood, but it is also an excellent starting point for numerous excursions: towards the Cigolade passes and Coronelle, towards the Vajolet towers, the Principe pass, the Antermoia and the Scalette pass.

The Stella Alpina Spiz Piaz refuge has been managed by the Riz family since 2011, has just been renovated and now offers its guests a new structure and a sparkling and cheerful welcome.
